Automated monitoring studies generate
large volumes of electronic data that are often never reviewed
nor analyzed.
Approximately half of cost to conduct a monitoring study can be
attributed to compiling, reviewing, and analyzing the
data. RiverMetrics™ uses custom time series graphical
software to review and correct data, and to produce results
such as accurate sediment storm load estimates. Experience in
understanding hydrologic responses, and their
consequences, is necessary to apply corrections to data sets and
to select the appropriate computations or
models for load predictions or rating curve
